Our primary staff member, Bill Waldorf:

• is a licensed professional counselor (LPC) in the State of Georgia,
• has masters degrees in both counseling and business (M.S. from Georgia State University, M.B.A. from the Yale School of Management),
• has spent over ten years specializing in career planning and development,
• has in the past encountered career questions himself, and has come to this line of work through honing his own career direction over time.

We feel this combination of training in, and personal understanding of, career decision-making gives us a special ability: to be most helpful to others with career questions.

Other staff members: As need arises, Bill brings in other professionals to work with organizational consulting, seminars or outplacement. These people are chosen for their exceptional qualifications within their specialty area.

Our Philosophy

Career / occupational assessments are important tools for you to consider in your quest for a meaningful career. Still, they are just tools. How they mesh with your understanding of yourself and your career is most important. We feel that assessment without personalized discussion afterward is of little value to you.

We also believe that each person has their own career story, with a unique understanding of events occurring in their work and personal lives. If, instead of assessments, or in addition to them, clients would like to explore their own behind-the-scenes career story, we welcome that opportunity. In essence, we value the way you (not just "tests") look at your work life.

Our hope is to help you make your own informed career choices, armed with your own objective and subjective knowledge of yourself. In this way, should you encounter career questions again, you may know where to start.
